Can I build a granny flat on my property?
In most cases across the Central West, yes, subject to lot size, setbacks and services. Rural properties and town blocks have different rules, and some sites have constraints that need working around.
We assess this at the site visit stage, before you have spent anything.

Yes. We build Callander Living homes within approximately 80km of Mudgee. If you’re outside that area, get in touch and we can discuss the options for having one built in your area.

Yes. Each model has a fixed build price, with provisional allowances included for certain site-specific items that can’t be confirmed until the property has been assessed. We’ll make these clear before you proceed.

Yes. In the Mid-Western Region, a secondary dwelling can generally be rented long-term or used for short-term accommodation. Short-term rentals need to meet NSW registration, fire safety and planning requirements, and we recommend checking any conditions specific to your property.

The timeframe will depend on your site and the approval pathway required. Once we’ve assessed the property, we can give you a project program covering approvals through to handover.
